VOCATIONAL TRAINING ASSISTANT - Day Hab Without Walls, Albion, NY

DUTIES: Provides direct hands on supervision, training and counseling to people with disabilities in a variety of vocational & community settings.
QUALIFICATIONS: Working level knowledge of people with disabilities, taking them out into the community. Demonstrates skills equivalent to a high school diploma. Ability to deal with people at all organizational levels, good administrative, organizational, problem solving, training and oral & written communication skills required. Need a valid NYS drivers license.
STARTING RATE: Grade 5 DC - $8.52/hr.
Vocational Training/Community Living Assistants who are currently paid at Grade 9 will continue to be paid at Grade 9.
