VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
POSITION: CAMP RAINBOW TEACHER – SUMMER
REPORT TO: PATTIE KEPNER – INTERIM EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR 
LOCATION: CAMP RAINBOW  
DUTIES: The teacher, under minimum supervision plans, develops, organizes and implements recreation/instruction plans for groups of campers.  Responsible for day to day operations of programming for campers.  Communicates regularly with parents, staff and individual service provide, and directs camp counselors and volunteers. 
QUALIFICATIONS:  College level knowledge of early childhood development typically acquired through the attainment of a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood, Elementary, or Special Education;  Experience preferred in behavioral plans and intervention.
Ability to deal with people at all organization levels, good administrative, analytical, organizational, problem solving or oral and written communication skills are required. Office, classroom and home environments.  Extra hours and frequent local travel are required.  Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.  Must possess a valid New York state driver’s license and become certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).  On occasion, may be required to enter into an area where there is tobacco smoke. 
STARTING RATE:  $13.07/HOUR
