A group of staff and individuals served from The Arc of Orleans County has the pleasure of joining others from around the state in Albany on Friday, July 11th, to celebrate NYSARC, Inc.'s 65th anniversary.

Speakers included John Robinson and Doug Hamlin from Our Ability, who stopped in Albion recently on their Journey Along the Erie Canal.  They biked from Buffalo to Albany over a two week period.  NYSARC's Executive Director Marc Brandt also spoke; he will be retiring later this year.

Following the event, everyone gathered at Riverfront Park for lunch and entertainment by the band, Flame.  Flame is a group of talented musicians from the Lexington/Fulton County Chapter who happen to have disabilities.
