Do you know what The Arc of Orleans County has been able to accomplish with grant funding received in 2010?

At Camp Rainbow…
1. Funding was procured from several area organizations and foundations for the pool renovation to be completed in 2011. Funders for the renovation are The Orleans County Foundation, The Lyndonville Area Foundation, the Child Welfare Association, the Medina Area Association of Churches, the Medina United Methodist Church, and The Rochester Rams.

2. We were able to purchase program supplies and recreational equipment with funding from J.M. McDonald Foundation.

At Rainbow Preschool…
1. We purchased books and accessories for literacy evenings at the Batavia Site with funding provided by the Target Foundation.

2. Grant funds from the Kenlou Foundation went towards the purchase of six computers and monitors as well as a speech assessment tool.

3. Walmart provided funding for various program supplies.

4. The AT&T Foundation funded supplies for a new pilot program—Second Step. The funding will also provide for auditory equipment as well as many other program supplies.
