POSITION:      COMMUNITY LIVING SPECIALIST – REGULAR FULL-TIME  HOURS WILL BE PRIMARILY NOON-8PM SUBJECT TO CHANGE BASED ON PROGRAM NEED

REPORTS TO:     COMMUNITY LIVING MANAGER – GINA HAGERTY

  

LOCATION:                MARSHALL ROAD - MEDINA

DUTIES:   ASSIST COMMUNITY LIVING MANAGER IN THE DAY TO DAY OPERATIONS OF SUPERVISING CONSUMERS AND STAFF TO ENSURE TASKS ARE CARRIED OUT IN ACCORDANCE WITH OMRDD REGULATIONS.  ENSURE AGENCY POLICIES ARE  ADHERED TO.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:
High School graduate + 2 yrs. experience performing duties involving working with adults who are developmentally disabled OR a comparable combination of education & experience.  Supervisory experience preferred.  Must be physically able to walk up and down stairs, shovel snow and assist in wheelchair/bathing transfer.  Valid NYS driver’s license is required and meet agency Motor Vehicle Guidelines. Must be independent, organized, creative, insightful, able to take proactive steps to solve problems and be willing to work required hours.                            

STARTING RATE:  Grade 12DC - $11.16/hr.
