POSITION: CERTIFIED OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT OR
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
PART TIME II – 20 HRS/WK
REPORTS TO: CARRIE WILSON - OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST 
LOCATION:  RAINBOW PRESCHOOL - BATAVIA
DUTIES: COTA - Provides occupational therapy services within guidelines of NYS & AOTA, based on goals determined by a registered occupational therapist.  Writes progress reports and communicates regularly with teachers & parents.
Occupational Therapist:  BS degree in Occupational Therapy and
NYS certified by NOTCB.  Ability to deal with people at all
organizational levels; good administrative, analytical,
organizational, problem solving and oral & written
communication skills and an aptitude for directing and
motivating people are required.  One year performing duties as
an OTA.
QUALIFICATIONS: NYS CERTIFIED OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT CERTIFICATION.  PHYSICALLY ABLE TO LIFT AND CARRY 40 POUNDS IN ORDER TO CARRY CHILDREN & EQUIPMENT.
STARTING SALARY: GRADE 21 - $15.37/HR for COTA
   OT Step 1 - $22.67/HR
