As one of the chapters of NYSARC, Inc., The Arc of Orleans took part in the ongoing NYSARC Gives Back Initiative which takes place during President's Project Week (March 23rd - 29th). The goal during this week is to have all the NYSARC chapters participate in a volunteer program in our community.
As part of the initiative, The Arc held a blood drive for the American Red Cross for the second year in a row. Fourteen units of blood were collected which translates into 42 lives being helped.
