The Arc of Orleans County celebrated the opening of the "Snack Shack" located in the Arnold Gregory Office Complex at 243 South Main Street, Albion NY on Wednesday, October 21st.
The Snack Shack has a wonderful variety of snacks and drinks including coffee and other hot beverages and is a convenient stop for the many people who work or have appointments in the building. The current business hours are from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm Monday - Friday. In November, the hours will change to 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
The Snack Shack is run by the Agency's Supported Employment Program and is a great opportunity for the individuals we serve to gain valuable work experience and training to assist in their transitioning to employment in the community.
We'd like to thank Ben DeGeorge co-owner of the DeGeorge Property Group for coming to us with the idea of The Arc running a snack shop as well as helping with some start up costs.
