VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT


POSITION: TRUCK DRIVER – REGULAR FULL TIME

REPORTS TO: DAVE BELLUCCI – OPERATIONS AND MARKETING MANAGER

LOCATION: ORLEANS ENTERPRISES – WASHINGTON STREET – ALBION, NY


DUTIES: Performs work center transportation needs. Prepares, loads, unloads and delivers raw materials and finished products to designated locations. Assists with product quality inspection, records supply and equipment inventory and ensuring safety. Provides direct hands on supervision, training and counseling to individuals with disabilities as needed.


QUALIFICATIONS:

HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA or equivalent. One year of truck driving is required. Working level knowledge of the operation & maintenance of a delivery type motor vehicle. Must possess a valid New York State Commercial Class B license & an acceptable driving record per Agency guidelines. Working level knowledge of production techniques, methods and/or training involving disabled adults. Good manual dexterity & mechanical aptitude. Ability to deal with people at all levels. Good administrative, organizational, training, oral and written communication skills are required. Must be able to lift 60 pounds and able to stand, push and pull. Occasional overtime and local travel is required. Weekends, evenings and holiday scheduling may be required.


STARTING WAGE: GRADE 9DC/1 - $9.77/HR.
